To search GUDMAP please use the search tree in the left-hand side bar.

Enter your search term(s) and click on the magnifying-glass icon to begin the search. The result will be populated into the tree.

Navigate through the tree to the leaf that represents the set of results you are interested in and click on that leaf to display results. The number of results found in each leaf is displayed in brackets. Below is a brief explanation about what results you can expect to find in each part of the tree.

Gene Strips
Gene strips has no sub-categories. It contains all genes found to be associated with the search term. Click on it will present these genes as a list of gene strips.

In Situ

The in situ category on the tree contains all in situ entries in GUDMAP associated with the search term(s).
Clicking on any leaf here will return a list of GUDMAP entries. The number in brackets shows the total in situ entries for that sub-category.

Under Expression, results can be restricted to those that show present, not-detected or uncertain expression.
Under Theiler Stage, results can be resticted to specific developmental stage.
Under Anatomical Region, results can be restricted to specific anatomical groupings.

Microarray
The microarray category on the tree contains all microarray samples in GUDMAP associated with the search term(s). Clicking on any leaf here will return a list of GUDMAP microarray samples.
