Cortex capillary loop and maturing nephrons Ptn signal in early tubule most likely distal tubule
Cortex and nephrogenic zone Ptn overlaps with Wt1 in cap mesenchyme and nephrogenic interstitium. Ptn also in ureteric tip.
Cortex and nephrogenic zone Ptn weak or absent from renal vesicles and pretubular aggregates. Ptn is strong in the interstitium adjacent to these structures.
Cortex shows Ptn absent from comma-shaped body and on distal segment of S-shaped body with weaker expression in proximal S-shaped body
Comma shaped body with weak expression adjacent to lower limb where Wt1 is expressed
