Results Notes
Expression of Htr3a-EGFP transgene and Tac1 (Substance P) in S1 dorsal root ganglion (EMAPA:25170). EGFP is present, strong, and visible in single neuronal cell bodies and axons. Tac1 (Substance P) is present, moderate to weak, and spotted. Both are expressed in neuronal cell bodies and axons.

20uM sagittal cryo-sections were mounted on 3-APES-treated slides and stained for Substance P via IHC. Co-expression of Htr3a-EGFP transgene and Substance P stain was noted in dorsal root ganglia. Camera settings for images 1, 2 & 3: LSM 510 Meta Confocal Microscope; Objective: Plan-Apochromat 20x/0.75; Imaged Area Size: 450uM x 450uM Scan Mode: Plane, multi-track, 8 bit; Laser Power for Image 1: 488nm - 9%, 633nm - 35%; Laser Power for Image 2: 488nm – 9%; Laser Power for Image 3: 633nm - 35%; Pin hole Size: 88uM both channels.
