Metanephros.
Nephrogenic zone and cortex. Note Aqp1 protein in proximal tubules and glomerular capillary system
Nephrogenic zone and cortex. Note Aqp1 protein in invading endothelial and red blood cells in the cleft of the S-shaped body and the glomerular capillary system of the maturing renal corpuscle.
Cortex. Note Aqp1 protein in proximal tubules and capillaries.
Cortex. Aqp1 protein in artery and red blood cells and juxtaglomerular arteriole.
Cortex. Note Aqp1 protein in juxtaglomerular arteriole of maturing renal corpuscle.
Cortex and medulla. Note strong Aqp1 protein signal in capillaries extending into the medulla.
Cortex and medulla. Note Aqp1 signal in early proximal tubule and a subset of the loop of Henle which may represent early descending limb.
Pelvis medulla and edge of cortex. Note Aqp1 protein in early proximal tubule and cortical and medullary capillaries and pelvic smooth muscle. Aqp1 protein is absent from the loop of Henle
Ureter. Aqp1 protein in ureteral mesenchyme.
